I received my Ph.D. in Engineering from Tohoku University and then worked on sewing automation at TransGP and The University of Hong Kong. Since November 2025 I have been an Assistant Professor at the Unprecedented-scale Data Analytics Center, Tohoku University. My field is robot vision and manipulation, and I care about taking methods all the way to a working robot system.
